Judging for the National Print Awards 2010 was held on Thursday 10 December at the Printing Industries Victorian Offices in Mulgrave.

The team of national judges, led by Chairman Rod Urquhart faced the difficult challenge of awarding a Gold, Silver and Bronze to the 'best of the best' of the top entries from each state in each of the 30 categories. 

The 27th National Print Awards event to be held at the Sydney Exhibition and Convention Centre on 26 March 2010 will be an impressive display of work from printing companies around Australia who were successful enough to win the top awards at PICA state level.

Chairman of Judges, Rod Urquhart said: "The inaugural 2009 "Best of the Best" judging provided a sound 'template' for the 27th judging-round procedures, and the process went very smoothly. Judges were able to individually assess and then freely discuss the merits of the State gold medallists before deciding as a panel on the placegetters".

Chairman of the 27th National Print Awards, John Wanless added: "We're delighted to see great quality work being presented, with gold medals being won across the breadth of the country. The judges were full of praise for the entries and we all look forward to seeing who the winners are on Friday 26 March 2010 in Sydney".
